The MH6D bat profile is a bat that has come to Laver & Wood NZ from the early days of James Laver as a bat maker in England. The design was originally crafted by Julian Millichamp in the Early 90’s. The larger oval handle in the bottom hand coupled with the very low profile gives the bat a very imposing look. The 6 dots on the back of the bat are wooden dowels that are plugging holes drilled into the back of the bat leaving an airspace underneath. Sadly due to the new rules these bats cannot be used in 1st Class or International cricket but we still make many for use in club and social cricket. An iconic bat that thousands of cricketers have used over the years.
